The Legends Awards began in 2023 by honouring a distinguished circle of leaders whose courage, faith, and service set the standard for excellence. T.A. Ralekholela, Dr A. In 2025, the celebration expanded with a grand edition in Gauteng and a special edition in Bloemfontein — extending the vision of recognising extraordinary service and leadership across regions.

In 2026, the Legends Awards marks its 4th Annual celebration by honouring legends in Gospel Music — voices and visionaries whose songs of faith have uplifted generations, strengthened communities, and carried the message of hope across South Africa and beyond. This year’s edition continues the journey of celebrating extraordinary lives, now shining a spotlight on those whose melodies have become ministries and whose harmonies echo with legacy.
